Re: Any update on Mckoi's status?



"dead" does not necessarily == "trash"...

Sometimes leaders of open source projects also have to "wake up to 
reality" and move onto other things.

For someone interested in leading a database project, it certainly makes 
more sense to start with an existing one than to start from 
scratch...unless of course the existing project really is trash.

However, I don't think that is the case for Mckoi, it always worked 
reasonably well for me. "Better" depends on the metric, but why stick 
around the mckoi mailing list if you think it is trash?
